2010 - PresentSecured 12 Resolutions proclaiming November 2012 "Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month". Proclamations were adopted by the following governing bodies: State of South Carolina (Governor Nikki Haley), Charleston County, Berkeley County, Dorchester County, the City of Charleston, the City of North Charleston, the Town of Summerville, the City of Goose Creek, the Town of Moncks Corner, the Town of Sullivan's Island, the City of Walterboro and the Town of Kiawah Island. Selected to represent South Carolina as "State Leader" at the 7th Annual Pancreatic Cancer Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C., June 2013. Single-handedly obtained 32 Proclamations from various municipalities throughout South Carolina, including one from Governor Nikki Haley, declaring November 2013 "Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month."
